Our FAQ

What do you provide exactly?

We provide a complete bespoke dining experience tailored to your wishes. We will supply all the ingredients, crockery, cutlery and specialist catering equipment (ice cream machine, water bath etc) that is required to produce your chosen menu/dishes. We will require use of ovens, fridge and freezer etc and these will need to be available as soon as we arrive at your property in order to keep foods within safe temperature ranges. A reasonable amount of space is required to be able to cater for the number of guests in your party. We will normally require access to the property between 2-4 hours before your chosen eating time but this will communicated well in advance of your event.
Gratuities are at the discretion of the guests.

Can you cater for vegans / vegetarians / various dietary requirements?

We can provide exciting food for all dietary requirements given ample warning as due to the time taken in composing / planning / preparing each menu, last minute changes /additions are impossible to accommodate. We have a sample vegan menu along with sample vegan / vegetarian dishes on our 'Fine Dining Menus / Wedding Menus' sections.

Menu sizes / choices

In order for us to provide the best experience to you and your guests, you'll need to choose from one of our set menus (or create one of your own). However, if you have dietary requirements that don't quite fit in with the menu that you've chosen, we can of course, work together to find a solution.


Final menu and orders will need to be confirmed at least 10 days before your event.

Weddings

Whether your looking for a small wedding meal served at your home or you're looking for a caterer for a larger wedding venue, we can take care of everything, surpass your expectations and give you peace of mind for your special day. Each event is completely different so get in touch and we can offer our expert opinion as to how best approach it. We can work with you wedding co-ordinator/wedding venue directly in order to streamline everything.

What type of events can you cater for?

We can organise your dinner parties, weddings, Christmas parties, birthdays etc. Any suggestion that you have, just ask away and we’ll endeavour to find a solution for you.

Initial enquiries

You can email us your desired date, menu or menu choices, number of guests and location of event to highland.dining@gmail.com and we will respond within 24 hrs. Due to the small personalised nature of our business, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your request as we steadfastly refuse to ‘double book events/dates but we will confirm this within 24 hrs of your initial query.


Once we’ve confirmed that we can cater your event, we require a non refundable deposit of £50 to hold the date. The remaining balance will need to be paid in full  at least 10 days before your event. If your event is less than 10 days away when you book then you will be required to pay in full to secure the booking.
